My thoughts drifted to one of Pedro's groomsmen who started his own ministry. No one would say Josh Lecar is ordinary. He and his wife, Yuisa, tower over most people at well above 6 feet. But other than that, they’re just like you and me. But they felt a burden to provide little ones in Guatemala with shoes in hopes to give them a better life and a chance at receiving the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
And they did it. In November, their organization, Hope & Compassion, distributed more than 2,000 shoes to kids in a poor, rural region in Guatemala. A lot of little feet are going to make it to heaven because of their compassionate hearts and humble generosity. Here’s a video of their recent trip:
